ORGANISED & PERSONAL RETREATS
OLV ter Nood welcomes you to come, seek peace, prayer, and time for quiet reflection. The unique location of the Juliana Monastery next to Sanctuary Onze Lieve Vrouw ter Nood and beautiful monastery grounds, allows guests to experience authentic Catholic life.
At the Sanctuary we regularly organise retreats for all who wish to take a moment to experience inner space. Please contact the secretariat for an up-to-date overview. You can apply for a retreat by contacting the secretariat or filling out a retreat registration form via the website.
Our Guest House is a former Juliana Monastery and has thirteen comfortable single and double rooms, including a handicapped accessible room. Our monastery has spacious and modern conference rooms perfect for meetings and retreats where you also have access to the gardens and monastery grounds. Guests have access to the sanctuary where Eucharistic celebrations take place daily and the Rosary is prayed on weekdays before the celebration. Guests are welcome to join us.
Teenage boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 are welcome to stay with us under the supervision of adults. We also cater to young adults (18 to 25 years old), who are also welcomed to stay in our Guest House. Our dormitories are very comfortable: bunk beds with good mattresses and modern shower and toilet facilities. The attic is furnished with sofas, tables and chairs, bean bags and games: suitable for fun activities and chilling out.
Arrange a stay in our beautiful Guest House where you can book a room for one or more nights, for an individual visit and for groups and organised retreats. Our monastery has spacious and modern conference rooms perfect for meetings and retreats where you also have access to the gardens and monastery grounds. Our attic is remodelled for youth groups and children, plus we have a cinema and two group accommodations. Call +31(0)72-5051288 or email info@olvternood.nl if you would like to book a stay with us.
We always welcome you and your group personally. The rector is available to give you a short introduction about the Sanctuary and the people who live and work there. After all, our goal is not only to provide you with a room but also with heartfelt hospitality. During your stay, you are free to follow your own daily programme.
You can expect to be treated with respect, but we expect the same from our guests. Everyone is welcome, but because we are a Catholic and religious institution, we ask you to respect our Catholic identity and not organise retreats or events that are in contradiction with our religious beliefs.
All rates include towels and bed linen. Different rates apply for groups; check-in is from 3 pm, and check-out is until 11 am. We are happy to receive you on weekdays between 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.
